Two former teachers at Kanye West's Donda Academy are suing the school for labor violations and alleging restrictive and unusual school rules for teachers and students. The teachers claim the school did not meet Department of Education requirements or follow state regulations, and teachers were not required to have Basic Life Support certification or mandatory reporting training. The lawsuit also alleges discrimination against the only Black teachers at the school. The academy's strict rules included only allowing students to eat sushi, no janitorial services, and no chairs in the school.
