Lionel Dahmer, Father of Serial Killer Jeffrey Dahmer, Passes Away at 87

Lionel Dahmer, the father of notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, has passed away at the age of 87 while receiving hospice care in Ohio. Lionel had stood by his son throughout his life, even after Jeffrey's conviction for raping, murdering, and cannibalizing more than a dozen young men. His death comes almost a year after the passing of his second wife. Despite the heinous crimes committed by his son, Lionel remained supportive and reflected on missed opportunities to save some of Jeffrey's victims.
