'80s Ex-Rock Musician Arrested Following Discovery of Missing Girlfriend's Remains

Theobald "Theo" Lengyel, a former saxophonist for the '80s rock band Mr. Bungle, was arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of his girlfriend, Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani Herrmann, after her body was found in a California park. Herrmann, a neuroscientist and competitive canoe paddler, was reported missing on December 12, and Lengyel, also known as Mylo Stone, became a person of interest when he refused to cooperate with the investigation. Her remains were discovered in Tilden Regional Park, and Lengyel was apprehended without incident and is being held without bail.
