Roundabout Theater Company plans to stage "The Pirates of Penzance," "English," and "Yellow Face" on Broadway next season, marking its most robust season since the start of the pandemic. The jazz-inflected production of "The Pirates of Penzance" will feature a reconceived book, score, and setting, while "Yellow Face" will star Daniel Dae Kim and address the issue of representation. Additionally, the company plans to stage two new plays Off Broadway and an Off Off Broadway production in its underground space.
