Nestlé faces Bordeaux criminal probe over infant-formula linked newborn death

French prosecutors opened a criminal investigation in Bordeaux after a newborn died who had been fed a Nestlé Guigoz infant formula. Authorities are testing for Bacillus cereus contamination and had previously recalled the batch, with health authorities monitoring the situation; Lactalis also announced recalls in several countries as a precaution.
