Meta is reportedly shifting its focus towards gaming and is discussing ways to bring major IPs like "Call of Duty" and "Grand Theft Auto" to the Quest store. Layoffs are expected to affect teams working on Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Meta's Metaverse division, but teams focused on gaming will be spared. The company is also retooling its headsets to improve them for gaming and developers, and is expected to launch numerous first-party titles with the release of Meta Quest 3 later this year.
