United Airlines had three flight diversions to Hawaii in just one week, with the latest being a Denver to Honolulu flight that had to return to Denver due to a mechanical issue. The airline has been using its older Boeing 777-200 planes on this route, which may be more prone to mechanical delays. Last week, two other United flights to Hawaii were diverted due to rudder and engine issues.
