Royal Caribbean's Response to Upset Guests Over Cruise Change

Royal Caribbean International has modified the itinerary of its October 6, 2023 Hawaii cruise due to the devastating wildfires in Lahaina, Maui. The cruise will now visit Victoria, British Columbia, and Seattle, Washington, instead of Lahaina. However, guests were disappointed with the change as they won't have the opportunity to explore any of the Hawaiian destinations. After receiving negative feedback, Royal Caribbean is now offering guests the option to cancel the sailing with a refund. The exact reopening date for Maui is uncertain, and access to the area is currently restricted for emergency operations.
