Cruise Ship Disabled by Rogue Wave, Towed to Safety

The Norwegian cruise ship MS Maud, owned by Hurtigruten Group, suffered a power outage and lost its ability to navigate after being hit by a rogue wave in the North Sea. The 266 passengers and 131 crew members are safe, and the ship is being towed to a Danish port. The vessel encountered strong winds that shattered windows on the bridge, causing water to enter and resulting in a power failure. Civil rescue vessels are assisting in navigation until the ship can be towed.
