Bed Bug Infestation Plagues Las Vegas Strip Hotels

Bed bugs have been found at several hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, including Circus Circus, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Palazzo, Tropicana, MGM Grand, and Sahara. Health inspectors discovered the infestations over the past year and a half, with some rooms being treated multiple times. While most hotels declined to comment, MGM International Resorts stated that they have procedures in place to address and resolve any issues. Pest control experts advise guests to inspect their rooms upon arrival and look for signs such as dark-colored spots, feces, and carcasses. The Southern Nevada Health District fines hotels only if they have ongoing complaints and fail to provide adequate pest control.
