Aer Lingus Expands US Routes, Challenges Delta and Adds Denver and Minneapolis Flights

Aer Lingus is expanding its U.S. route map with the addition of Denver and Minneapolis-Saint Paul, bringing its total number of destinations in the U.S. to 15. The Irish carrier will connect both cities to its main hub in Dublin, with flights starting in April and May 2023. However, Delta Air Lines will also be launching its own nonstop service to Dublin from Minneapolis-Saint Paul just two weeks after Aer Lingus' service begins. Aer Lingus highlighted its strengths in connecting passengers to other European cities via its Dublin hub, while Delta emphasized its dominant position at MSP.
