Traffic Changes and Road Closures: Construction Updates on South Academy Boulevard and Constitution Circle

The City of Colorado Springs is warning drivers of restricted access on Pikes Peak Avenue and South Academy Boulevard due to construction work. Eastbound and westbound Pikes Peak Avenue traffic will be closed, with limited access to and from northbound and southbound South Academy Boulevard. Southbound Academy Boulevard traffic will be reduced to one lane. Underground construction work will also take place on South Academy Boulevard between Platte Avenue and Airport Road. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes during this time.
