The Disruptive Effects of Baltimore's Light Rail Shutdown

The suspension of Light Rail services in Baltimore due to a "fire event" in October is causing significant disruptions for commuters and students. The Maryland Transit Administration is conducting inspections and repairs to the fleet of cars, and while train cars may still be in operation, riders are advised not to board them. The MTA is providing free shuttle service, but some riders have reported difficulties tracking the shuttles.
