Runway Closure at Des Moines International Airport Due to Emergency Landing

Des Moines International Airport in Iowa had to temporarily close one of its runways after a general aviation Mooney aircraft made an emergency landing on its belly. The closure lasted for over an hour as the airport's other runway was already closed for maintenance. No injuries were reported, and the runway has since reopened.
