Rising Incidents of Violence by Passengers on United Airlines Flights

A passenger on a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Houston was arrested and charged with battery after allegedly assaulting a crew member during boarding. The passenger became disruptive after being told he and his wife were in the wrong seats. The incident was captured on video and United Airlines has banned the passenger from future flights. According to the FAA, there have been 586 reported unruly passenger incidents so far this year, compared to 1,306 during the same period in 2022.
