Waymo Becomes Stanford Athletics’ Official On-Campus Autonomous Ride-Hailing Partner

Stanford Athletics and Waymo announced a first-of-its-kind partnership making Waymo the official autonomous ride-hailing partner for Stanford, with Waymo’s driverless service rolling out on campus for events at the Oval and Museum Way and limited routes on non-event days to the Oval and Stanford Visitor Center; two additional stops at Escondido Village and the Visitor Center were added, and the Museum Way location operates five hours before and two hours after large events.
