The Family Connection: Nvidia and AMD CEOs are Cousins

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su are first cousins once removed, with Huang's mother being Su's grandfather's sister. Both executives have roots in Taiwan but grew up in different parts of the US and did not appear to have grown up together. Despite their familial relationship, Nvidia and AMD are major competitors in the semiconductor industry, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. Huang and Su are now leading two of the largest US chip companies by market capitalization.
