Texas Mandates Tesla's NACS for $400M Subsidy Access

Texas has approved a requirement for charging stations to be equipped with Tesla's NACS connector in order to access over $400 million in subsidies for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This is in addition to the federal requirement for CCS connectors. Texas will receive the largest amount of federal funding for EV charging stations, and the move aligns with the growing momentum of NACS becoming the new standard in North America.
