Microsoft Invests $33B in Neoclouds to Boost AI Capabilities

Microsoft has entered into a $19.4 billion deal with neocloud provider Nebius to access over 100,000 Nvidia chips, part of a broader strategy to address AI data center capacity shortages by leasing infrastructure from neoclouds, thereby freeing up its own servers for customer AI services and enhancing financial flexibility.
