"Meta's Expanded AI Content Labeling Strategy Unveiled"

Meta will introduce a "Made with AI" label for AI-generated content on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads starting in May, expanding beyond its previous policy that focused mainly on manipulated videos. The company will apply labels when users disclose AI use or when it detects AI image indicators, and will also stop removing AI-generated material that doesn't violate community guidelines starting in July, based on recommendations from its Oversight Board.
