Meta's AI Technology: A Win-Win for All

Meta Platforms Inc. executives have stated that there have been no major drawbacks to openly sharing their AI technology, contrary to the approach taken by many of their peers. In recent months, Meta has been releasing open-source versions of its large language models, such as ChatGPT, with the aim of keeping them free and gaining an advantage by building products and services on top of them. This strategy was discussed at an event for Meta's AI research Lab FAIR.
