Meta pauses teen access to AI avatars as it rolls out safer update

Meta said it will suspend teenagers’ access to its existing AI characters across all apps as it builds a revised teen experience, which will feature parental controls and PG-13-style content guidelines to prevent minors from accessing inappropriate material amid scrutiny of AI’s effects on youths.
