Boeing engineers set world record with paper airplane.

Two Boeing engineers, Dillon Ruble and Garrett Jensen, have set a Guinness World Record for the farthest flight by a paper airplane, after their design flew 289 feet 9 inches, almost the entire length of a football field. The engineers, who studied aerospace and mechanical engineering together at Missouri University of Science and Technology, spent 400 to 500 hours building and testing prototypes, and drew inspiration from hypersonic aerospace vehicles, origami, and aerodynamics. Their design is unique and optimal at a 40-degree angle off the ground.
