The scams include fake subscription alerts, account suspension threats, order confirmation frauds, tech support scams, and fake job offers. Amazon advises customers to verify communications through official channels, enable two-factor authentication, and use the Amazon Message Center to identify legitimate messages. The company has also partnered with the BBB Scam Tracker to help users report and identify scams.
