Giant Restricts Bag Size to Curb Shoplifting

Giant Food has implemented a new policy at select stores to combat high levels of theft, prohibiting customers from bringing bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6". This measure, effective from May 23, aims to reduce theft and ensure safety but has received mixed reactions from customers, some of whom find the restrictions inconvenient. Other supermarket chains have also adopted various measures to address shoplifting.
