Record-Breaking $38.1 Million Nantucket Estate Sets Massachusetts Real Estate Market Ablaze

A Nantucket estate with three buildings, 11 bedrooms, and 3.5 acres of land has sold for $38.1 million, making it the most expensive home ever sold in Massachusetts. The property was purchased by venture capitalist Evan Jones and his wife, Cindy Jones, who listed it for sale at $56 million last year. Despite this record-breaking sale, prices on Nantucket are down about 4% compared to last year. Additionally, there are still several other expensive homes for sale on the island, ranging from $29.9 million to $17.8 million.
