Kraft Heinz is recalling over 83,000 cases of individually wrapped Kraft Singles American processed cheese slices due to a potential choking hazard. Thin strips of film were found to remain on the cheese slices after the wrapper is removed, posing a gagging or choking risk. The recall applies to specific products with use-by dates between Jan. 9 and Jan. 27, 2024. Kraft has fixed the wrapping machine and inspected other processing machines, and customers can return the recalled items for an exchange or refund.
