Indiana Man's $13M Charity Bequest Leaves No Names

An Indiana man, Terry Kahn, who lived a frugal life and had no immediate family, left behind a $13 million fortune in his will to be donated to charity. However, he did not specify any particular organizations, leaving his attorney, Dwayne Isaacs, to cold-call local nonprofits and offer them millions. Some organizations initially thought it was a scam and missed out on the unorthodox bequest. Despite the challenges, several nonprofits received substantial donations, including a free store for educators and an organization supporting domestic violence survivors. Kahn's attorney believes his client would be pleased with the outcome.
