Bear Interrupts Bakery Operations to Steal Cupcakes in Avon

A bear broke into a bakery in Avon, Connecticut, and ate 60 cupcakes after making a bluff charge towards an employee. The incident caused a delay in the opening of the bakery's South Windsor location. While Avon police have received an increased number of calls about bears, this was a new experience for them. No one was injured, and the bear did not cause any permanent damage.
