Maryland Man Wins Lottery Three Times with Same Numbers in 11 Months

A Maryland man has won the lottery three times in 11 months using the same numbers. The 52-year-old Waldorf man won his latest Pick 5 prize of $50,000 in the April 13 midday drawing. He had placed a $1 straight bet on the number 48548, which had previously won him $100,000 on two tickets he purchased for the May 18, 2022, midday drawing. The man, nicknamed "Big Winner," said he will keep playing the lottery and believes that most winners stop playing after their lucky number is drawn, incorrectly assuming that it will never hit again.
