"TEP Employees Provide Ice Relief to Southwest Side Amid Power Outages"

Tucson Electric Power (TEP) employees are distributing ice to customers affected by power outages on the southwest side of Tucson, Arizona, after a storm caused the collapse of over 30 power poles. Approximately 1,300 customers have been without power since the storm, and around 800 customers may remain without power for a couple of days. TEP advises affected customers to make alternative shelter arrangements, while Pima County and the City of Tucson have established cooling centers to provide relief from high temperatures. TEP will continue to provide updates on their Outage Map as restoration efforts progress.
