UAW Accuses Hyundai, Honda, and VW of Union-Busting in Unfair Labor Practice Charges

The United Auto Workers (UAW) has filed unfair labor practice charges against Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen, accusing the automakers of unlawfully interfering with worker organizing. The UAW alleges activities such as surveillance, confiscation of pro-union materials, harassment, and attempts to silence pro-union workers. UAW President Shawn Fain stated that the companies are breaking the law to prevent autoworkers from fighting for their fair share. The charges come as the UAW aims to organize nonunion automakers in the U.S. and expand its membership beyond the "Big Three" Detroit automakers.
