Nintendo Switch Sales Reach Over 125 Million, but Plunge 22%.

Nintendo Switch family of systems has sold over 3 million units in the last quarter, bringing the lifetime total number of units sold to 125.62 million. The Nintendo DS and PS2 are still ahead in the ranks of best-selling video game consoles, with 154.02 million and 155 million lifetime sales, respectively. Switch OLED was the most popular SKU in the last financial year, although overall hardware sales declined by 22.1% year-on-year. Nintendo will likely offer discounted bundles to give Switch a sales push, but with a huge library of evergreen titles, there's potential for these numbers to grow even after the release of Nintendo's next console.
