Business intelligence firm MicroStrategy has announced the acquisition of an additional 5,445 BTC for $147.3 million, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to approximately 158,245 BTC. The average purchase price for the new stash was $27,053 per coin, lower than the average purchase price of its entire BTC purchase. This move reaffirms MicroStrategy's bullish stance on Bitcoin and comes as the cryptocurrency has traded sideways around $26,000 over the past few weeks.
