Valley man sentenced to prison for $9M cow manure Ponzi scheme

Ray Brewer, a 66-year-old man from the Valley, has been sentenced to almost seven years in prison for a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme involving cow manure. Brewer stole nearly $9 million from investors by telling them he could turn cow manure into green energy. He promised investors 66% of net profits and tax incentives, but instead deposited the money into multiple bank accounts under different names. Brewer is expected to spend six years and nine months in prison.
