Rochester Manufacturer's COO Blames System for Encouraging Car Theft

The COO of a manufacturing company in Rochester, which has been targeted by car thieves and vandals, believes the judicial system and political environment are telling criminals it's okay to steal. The police shortage and lack of accountability are also contributing factors. The companies in the tech park have asked for help from the police, but with only a few officers available, they cannot be a private security force for private businesses. The Rochester Police Department has reported 164 stolen cars in the last two weeks.
