"Rash of Kidnappings and Robberies Target Young Men in Atlanta's Buckhead District"

Eight men in Atlanta reported being drugged, knocked out, and robbed of thousands of dollars after visiting bars in the Buckhead neighborhood, with some alleging they were driven around the city while unconscious. The incidents involved the use of mobile payment apps and credit card fraud, and occurred at several popular bars in the area. The victims described feeling abnormally intoxicated before losing consciousness and waking up with significant financial losses. Despite reporting the crimes to the police and providing evidence, some victims expressed frustration with the police response. The Atlanta Police Department stated that they are actively investigating the cases and urged victims to report crimes quickly to aid in the investigation.
