Multiple Alaska Airlines Passengers Arrested and Charged for Unruly Behavior and Flight Diversions

Two men on separate Alaska Airlines flights were arrested on federal charges for harassing or assaulting others to the point they had to be restrained. The incidents occurred on April 1 and April 5, respectively. The Federal Aviation Administration has identified a recent increase in incidents involving passengers disrupting flights with threatening or violent behavior. The men were charged with assault with intent to commit a felony and interference with flight crew members or attendants.
