Match.com Meeting Leads to Murder-for-Hire Plot by Environmental Specialist

Melody Sasser, an environmental compliance specialist, allegedly tried to hire a hitman through a website called Online Killers Market to murder Jennifer Wallace, the wife of a man she had met on Match.com. Sasser made payments totaling $9,750 in Bitcoin and provided accurate details about the Wallace's life. She was identified as 'cattree' by Coinhub, which operates Bitcoin ATM machines that Sasser had allegedly used. Sasser was arrested on May 18th and remains in custody until a further court appearance on June 8th.
