Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Faces Lawsuit Alleging Sex Trafficking and Exploitation

A former model for Abercrombie & Fitch has filed a lawsuit against the fashion retailer, accusing its former CEO, Mike Jeffries, of running a sex-trafficking organization during his 22-year tenure. The lawsuit alleges that Jeffries used modeling scouts to recruit attractive young men who would then become victims of sex trafficking, under the guise of being recruited as Abercrombie models. The lawsuit seeks class-action status and estimates that over a hundred young models were victims. Abercrombie & Fitch has declined to comment, stating that it has hired an outside law firm to investigate the allegations. Jeffries' attorney stated that he will not comment on the lawsuit in the press.
