Fatal Stolen Vehicle Crash Claims Two Lives in Sacramento County

Two people are dead and one is seriously injured after the driver of a stolen Tesla crashed into a minivan in Sacramento County while being pursued by deputies. The driver evaded officers before hitting the minivan, trapping its occupants. Fire officials had to perform a difficult extrication to rescue the trapped individuals. The driver of the stolen vehicle also died in the crash. The Sacramento Police Department is leading the investigation.
