Recalled Facebook item linked to 100 deaths.

Despite being recalled four years ago and linked to about 100 infant deaths, the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play sleeper is still being sold on Facebook Marketplace, with nearly 4,000 of the inclined sleepers found on resale sites over a 13-month period starting in February 2022. The chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has demanded that Facebook do more to keep the deadly product off its site, and has also asked Fisher-Price to consider new approaches, including refunding the full purchase price of all Rock ‘n Plays. Despite repeated warnings, deaths continue, and the pace of listings for the Rock ‘n Play on resale sites does not appear to have slowed.
