Onewheel Electric Skateboards Recalled After Fatal Crashes

Future Motion is recalling 300,000 Onewheel Self-Balancing Electric Skateboards due to a crash hazard that can result in serious injury or death. The skateboards can stop balancing the rider if the boards' limits are exceeded. Future Motion has received reports of incidents, including four deaths and various injuries. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled skateboards and update the firmware through the Onewheel app to include Haptic Buzz alert functionality. Refunds are available for certain models.
