Tech Giants DoorDash and MongoDB Enter Nasdaq 100 as Enphase and Zoom Video Depart

DoorDash, MongoDB, and Splunk will be added to the Nasdaq 100 index, while Zoom Video Communications, Enphase Energy, and eBay will be removed. The changes will take effect on December 18 as part of the annual rebalancing. The Nasdaq 100 is closely tracked by index funds and actively managed funds, but its influence is overshadowed by the S&P 500. The additions and removals were largely expected, as the Nasdaq 100 includes nonfinancial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange.
