Tanglewood Mall undergoes changes under new ownership.

Roanoke County officials and residents are optimistic about the changes that will come with the new ownership of Tanglewood Mall by Hackney Real Estate Partners. The mall will be expanded to fit modern needs, with a mixture of goods, services, retail, and experience. Roanoke County plans to improve transportation around the mall, and construction of the diverging diamond interchange with route 419 and route 220 will begin in 2024. Despite the changes, mall walkers hope to continue using the space as an indoor track.
