Disney cancels $1 billion Florida campus amid feud with DeSantis.

The Walt Disney Company has cancelled plans to build a new corporate campus in Florida worth nearly $1bn, citing "considerable changes" and "changing business conditions". The move comes amid an escalating feud between Disney and Florida's Republican-led government headed by Ron DeSantis. The Lake Nona campus would have been a new home for employees at the firm's secretive theme park research and development arm, known as Imagineers. Many of the jobs that were supposed to relocate to Florida were higher paid, white collar and tech-focused positions.
