Toyota confirms hybrid powertrain for 2024 Tacoma pickup.

Toyota has confirmed that the 2024 Tacoma will be available with a hybrid powertrain option, which will be the premium offering and possibly standard in the TRD Pro. The truck will also feature a modified, shorter, narrower version of the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, bringing a rear coil suspension and stiffer frame for off-roading. The 2024 Tacoma is due at dealerships later this year, with a new 4Runner SUV to follow shortly based on the same underpinnings.
