Stellantis Recalls Over 354k Jeeps Worldwide for Rear Coil Spring Issue

Stellantis is recalling over 354,000 Jeeps worldwide due to the risk of rear coil springs falling off while driving, which could cause a crash and pose a hazard to other drivers. The recall affects certain 2022 and 2023 Grand Cherokee and 2021 to 2023 Grand Cherokee L SUVs, and Stellantis says it has received 17 warranty claims, two customer assistance reports, and two field reports related to the issue. Dealers will inspect the springs and replace the assemblies if necessary, and owners will be notified by letter starting July 28.
