Honda Recalls Over Half a Million CR-Vs

Honda is recalling over 564,000 CR-Vs sold or registered in 22 states plus Washington, D.C. from 2007 through 2011 due to road salt causing the frame to rust and rear suspension parts to come loose and fall off. Dealers can install a support brace or repair the frame free of charge, and if the frame is badly damaged, Honda may offer to buy the vehicle. No deaths or injuries have been reported, and owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 8, 2023.
