Amazon Driver Hospitalized After Snake Bite During Florida Delivery

An Amazon delivery driver in Palm City, Florida, was bitten by an eastern diamondback rattlesnake while dropping off a package at a home. The driver immediately fell ill and was hospitalized in serious condition. Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes are venomous and their bites can cause damage to tissue, but human deaths are rare due to the availability of antivenoms.
